Andriy’s mother is deaf-mute. Andriy was born in northern Ukraine, an area that was attacked at the beginning of the war. Andriy’s family didn’t leave their city during the russian invasion and several months later russian troops pulled out. Andriy and his family survived the blockade. Now Andriy lives with his grandmother
because his kindergarten doesn’t work due to energy and financial problems in the country. He needs medicine and winter clothes. Andriy likes firemen and wants to become one in the future so he can rescue people and be strong.
Andriy is a very curious boy and likes to play with other children very much. Andriy has
some troubles with speaking and needs assistance from a speech therapist the family also cannot afford.
