Melana comes from a small town in the east of Ukraine. When the war started her family had to evacuate and are now in a small town in central Ukraine. Melana now lives in a dormitory with her mother and her sister. She does not attend kindergarten. Melana needs winter clothes, winter shoes, diapers. Melana dreams of a doll house and, of course, of returning home to her family and friends as soon as possible.
Melana’s mother is on maternity leave and receives housing assistance for internally displaced persons in the amount of $ 195. Melana’s dad lost his job at the beginning of the war. All of the family’s money is spent on food and utilities. Help is needed.
