Roksolana

My daughter’s name is Roksolana. She studies in the 6th grade at a local school. Our family is big, she has 4 brothers and sisters. We live in a remote mountain village and we have no work in the village, and with the beginning of the war, everything got worse, because people in the village lived on earnings from abroad. At the moment, I am not working, and my husband used to work seasonally, so now we live on social assistance from the state as a low-income family with many children, which is 255 dollars. With this money, it is difficult to pay for electricity ($30), to buy firewood for the whole winter ($500), because the heating is by stove, there is no gas, and you still need to buy food, clothes, medicine. We did not run away from the war, because we are a big family. With the beginning of the war, life became very difficult. My daughter has to walk over a mile to school. The school is old and in need of repair. There is no cafeteria, so my daughter eats sandwiches at school. My daughter has athletic abilities, but there is no place to develop them, because the school does not have a sports hall. The school is cold, not insulated, because of which the child often gets sick. I really want to improve the conditions for my child’s education. We want the war to end and peace to reign in our country.
