The war came quickly to our town in the east of Ukraine. We were not ready. We moved under fire, bullets over our heads, we were travelling for three days and we succeeded in staying alive and winding up in western Ukraine. It was very scary to hear the explosions. My city is all destroyed. Now my family lives in the same town in the west of Ukraine and I am in a dormitory at the local boarding school. I really miss our house where we lived together before the war, it’s so hard to imagine I will not see it again as I left it. But life goes on, I understand. I try to stay positive. I need a tracksuit for development and clothes. I love dance and art, and my dream is to study at a good Ukrainian University.
