Yehor lives in a single-parent family. His father is raising him. They live in the front-line zone in the city in the south of Ukraine. He studies remotely in the 2nd grade of school, which was damaged as a result of the war in Ukraine. The roof and windows of the school were damaged. Yehor is afraid of shelling and his father is forced to tell him that it is “thunder is rumbling”. Yehor misses communication with his friends, because often the father takes the boy with him to work, because there is no one to leave the boy with. And when the sirens sound, they hide in the bomb shelter. Yehor dreams of being able to play with toys, go for a walk outside, ride a bicycle and not have “thunder”.
