Nika has been disabled since childhood. Nika has had epilepsy since 3 months and has a speech delay. Nika lives in the northern region of Ukraine, not far from sadly famousChernobyl nuclear power plant. Nika has an older 9 years old brother. When the war started in the country, the children were forced to evacuate with their mother and grandmother to Poland, as Nika was sick, and medicine was needed for treatment, which could not be purchased in Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Despite the military situation at home, in May the family returned to Ukraine, as they were very sad. Nika kept saying: “I don’t want to travel, I want to go home…” Her emotional state worsened because of air alarm sirens and the need to hide in a shelter. Nika attends a preschool accompanied by an individual teacher-assistant, has special lessons where studies grammar and English. Nika likes to help grandmother in the kitchen. Nika needs special medicine to move on, winter clothes, higher quality food. Your help and loving support through sponsorship will help to support Nika’s health and quality of life.
