Angelina is a child from a large family, she has three older sisters. The family lives in an old clay house that doesn’t have gas and running water. It is a rental, they don’t have their own property. Her father is a person with disabilities. Her mother works in a town 9 miles from their place, she is an orphan from childhood.
Three of the children go to school which is far away in the town, The school in their village is closed now because the absence of bomb shelter. So girls walk to the main road every day (3 miles), where they stop the car and go to school by car (7 miles).
Angelina is in Year 3. She does her best at school like her sisters. He attended Art and craft club in school before the war started. Of course, she hears air raids every day and has the war psychological trauma. She needs money for their everyday essentials: food, clothes, shoes, school supplies. Total family income is at about 250 dollars, 150 dollars of this money family spends on the oldest sister’s education. Family understands education is their only chance to get out of the cycle of poverty. They need help on this journey
