Anna lives in a large family with seven kids. Her mother works and earns a minimum wage. Kateryna’s father works and earns minimum wage as well. The average monthly income of the entire family is $320. This amount of money includes social benefits for families with low income.
Before the war with Russia, Kateryna’s father worked as a coach as a volunteer at a Sports Complex. That is why all the family’s children attended this sport club (Taekwondo section). Anna is a multiple champion of Ukraine in taekwondo. She has got a “black belt” qualification grade as well as the first adult rank in taekwondo. Anna is the prize winner of the international tournament “Masters of Podillya”. Anna being the older girl in the family helps her mother take care of her younger brothers and sisters. She is a 7th-grade student. Anna is studying very hard at school. She understands the value of education in her life. Per today Anna needs financial support to develop her sports career. She is very friendly. Anna wants to be a world’s champion one day.
