Artem lives in the northern region of Ukraine, in a small town close to the sadly famous Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Artem has a congenital kidney disease, impaired vision and underwent two surgeries (hematoma, hernia). Artem has a younger 7 years old sister. When the war started in the country, Artem and his family ( mother, grandmother, sister) had to evacuate but some months later the family returned to Ukraine. Artem’s emotional state worsened because of the air alarm sirens and the need to hide in the shelters. Artem studies in the 4th grade of the school-lyceum, attends the sports section of Thai boxing, likes to help his grandmother in the kitchen to bake sweet cakes. Artem needs periodic examination, constant treatment, all of which is hard to afford for the family. Winter clothes and better food are also needed, as Artem has health problems. Your help and loving support through sponsorship will help to improve Artem’s health and sufficient standard of living.
