Artem lives in the Donetsk region in the front-line city of Slovyansk. He is studying remotely, online at the medical college. He’s a 2nd year student. He studies hard because he really wants to save his dad, who is seriously ill and has to undergo treatment in Kyiv. Artem is now taking care of his younger sister. Due to dad’s expensive treatment, the family needs financial help. In his free time from studying, he used to play sports, but now, due to frequent air-raid sirens, he has to hide in basements. There are constant power outages in the city, so there is no Internet, it does not make it possible to study normally and receive a decent education. He dreams of becoming a doctor and treating people in a peaceful country.
