anil was born in a small town in the south of Ukraine. He is part of a large family who did not evacuate when the horrible Russia – Ukraine war started. Family thought they would be safer staying rather than travelling as the youngest child is only three months old. Financial situation of family is very bad, not enough money even for food. Winder clothing are needed for Danil and his siblings. Danil wants to go to school but as electricity is only available sometimes – school does not always work, and it’s cold in the school building. As cold weather came children often get sick, we need to buy medicine.
