German was born and raised in the east of Ukraine, an area most heavily hit by war with russia. His family had to evacuate. German’s father disappeared from his life and does not support the family financially, even before the war. German studies in school at the 7th grade, but now studies are suspended. Before the war German was engaged in rowing, liked to play various games, and did handcraft. German’s mother is receiving the minimum income as a displaced person of 135 dollars, which is not really enough to survive as a human. German’s dream is to return home and for the war to end.
