Igor lives with his mother and grandmother in the front-line zone of eastern Ukraine. He is in the 8th grade of secondary school, whichhas got under shelling for the second time, as first time if was hit during first phase of the Ukraine – Russia war, which started in 2014. As a result of recent shelling thewindows, doors, and roof were damaged. So he has distance learning online. Becauseof the frequent air-raid sirens, he often has to run to the bomb shelter, whichinterferes with his life and his learning. In his spare time, he is fond of repairing appliances,computer technologies, and electronics.
