Hello! My name is Maksym, I’m 12. I was born and raised in a small rural town. I had a happy childhood but the war has changed everything. I love playing basketball, it’s my hobby but I’d like to play it professionally. I’m trying to be in good shape and practise playing basketball when there is no air-raid siren. I want the war to be over as soon as possible and the air-raid sirens to end. And I want a peaceful life without rockets flying over our heads. I’m dreaming of a good basketball, a basketball uniform and trainers. But I cannot ask my mum to buy them for me as we need money to pay for food and bills. I will be very grateful to everyone who could help our family in such a difficult time. Thank you so much.
