I was born and lived all the time in Ukraine, very western part. I speak English. I have a hearing disability. During the war, my family didn’t go anywhere, as there were no active hostilities in our town (thank God). I’m active and cheerful, I like sports, especially swimming. Before the war, I was actively engaged in swimming. I participated in the championships of Ukraine and (in Poland and Slovakia). Now, unfortunately, it has become extremely difficult to train in Ukraine due to the lack of proper conditions. I had a long break in classes, since all the pools in the city were closed. Now, if there is electricity, I have to swim only 1 time a day for 1 hour, since the water in the pool is very “expensive”, and we are not able to finance it. I’m very sorry that 7 years of my sports life were so cruelly canceled by the war unleashed by Russia. I like to study, I also do well in school. The teachers praise me, although it is more difficult for me than other children, since I am a child with a disability (I have hearing problems and I wear hearing aids). Now, that learning has become online, it creates additional difficulties for me, as the Internet connection is weak and the sounds is often of poor quality. I can’t hear everything, and my devices are not good enough to reproduce the sound qualitatively. Unfortunately, our family has no money for modern hearing aids, they are very expensive. But we don’t lose faith! Ukraine will definitely win! And the peaceful life of Ukrainians will become even better than it was.
