Oleksandr remembers the first day of the war, when his family were forced to leave their native region under missiles and shelling. His dad, a military man, made a courageous decision from the first days of the full-scale war – to defend Ukraine, his home, his family, with a weapon in his hands. Oleksandr also had to leave his home, school because of the war. His parents lost their jobs. At the moment, Oleksandr is studying in the 10th grade. Experiences and thoughts about the first days of the war had a negative impact on Alexander‘s studies. He likes playing football and volleyball.
They cannot return home, the school has been converted into a military headquarter, and the apartment where they lived has no heating. They don’t have enough money for necessary things.
