I live with my mother in the north-eastern region. I lost my dad when I was two years old. In the winter of 2015 my dad went to the war and died on the frontlines. After my father’s death, my mother and I moved to another place to live, where my mom took a mortgage to buy a flat. Over time my mother went to serve in the special purpose military battalion herself. When my mom was sent to the area of the anti-terrorist operation, grandmother and grandfather took me to the village. I was constantly waiting for my mother at home. On February 24, 2022, the worst began. The war came to our house. My mother and I spent all these terrible days in the basement with almost no water and no food, but we courageously held on.
Now I am in the 4th grade of primary school. Because of constant alarm signals I have to study at home. But I really hope that very soon, peace will come to my country and I will be able to go to school. During the war, I got a best friend who I had really dreamed of. My mother gave me a dog. I love animals very much and I dream of becoming one day a veterinarian. This year I started practicing karate in order to be strong in the future and be able to defend myself. I dream about a computer so that I can study better.
