- Donation Policy & Dispute Handling
- Nature of Donations
All payments made through our platform are considered charitable donations to support humanitarian efforts for children and families affected by war in Ukraine. Donations are not payments for goods or services, and donors do not receive a physical or digital product in return.
- Non-Refundable Policy
Due to the immediate allocation of funds for critical aid, all donations are final and non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, it is directed toward assisting children in urgent need. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances, including disputes submitted through financial institutions.
- Allocation of Aid
While we strive to use donations as closely as possible to the donor’s selected child or case, war-related challenges may impact our ability to provide timely updates or maintain ongoing communication with some families. These challenges include, but are not limited to:
- Limited or disrupted internet or mobile connectivity
- Frequent relocations due to bombings or military action
- Ongoing threats to the safety and stability of the family
In such cases, and to avoid delays in providing urgent support, we reserve the right to redirect a donation to another child or family in immediate need. This ensures that aid is not delayed and is still used for its intended humanitarian purpose.
However, when communication is restored with the originally selected family, we prioritize sending aid to them as soon as possible, based on the available resources at that time.
- Updates and Communication
We aim to provide video or written updates about the impact of donations. However, due to the nature of the conflict and the environment in which these families live, timely updates cannot always be guaranteed. We ask for your understanding and patience in these circumstances.
- Fraudulent or Malicious Disputes
We reserve the right to contest any payment dispute filed on the basis of “product not received” or “product unacceptable,” as donations are neither products nor subject to return policies. If needed, we will provide relevant documentation to financial institutions, including proof of allocation, project details, and timelines.
