Even since the calamities started in Ukraine in 2014 the situation with Ukrainian children has been on my mind and in my heart. Growing up in a small beautiful country with so much love from people taught me how to extend help to anyone in need. My grandparents used to talk all the time about “Besa” that they offered to the Jews during holocaust, there is an entire neighborhood in Vlora area called after them. I know deep in my heart we must help those in need during their hard times. After many months crying over the news about all the pain and tragic stories that Ukrainians have been living through from February 2022, I couldn’t stay silent. I wanted to help in any way possible. I can’t wait to see more kids and people in need being helped and survive through the war and poverty. As mother Teresa used to say ”We can’t do big things but we can do small things with big love”, I want to do all I can to help Ukraine and it’s children. I invite all of you to join our cause!
