Mother Olha shares:
Good day. This is Olha writing with respect and gratitude. After our school was bombed, we relocated to Kyiv.
Our financial difficulties continue. The hearing aids require specialized ear inserts, tuning, and batteries, which are very expensive. In addition, we need to provide food and clothing for Mykyta.
When we fled the occupied territory, Russian soldiers confiscated our old laptop and smashed my son’s phone because it contained pro-Ukrainian content. We arrived with just two small bags.
Like any child, he dreams of having a phone—even a used one—and a laptop for school would be incredibly helpful. Schooling in Ukraine is unpredictable—due to blackouts and infrastructure damage, children often study from home or even in bomb shelters.
