Compassion Is Life is a nonprofit organization registered in the United States and recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This Refund and Return Policy applies to all donations made through our website or authorized payment platforms.

1. Nature of Donations

All contributions made to Compassion Is Life are voluntary charitable donations intended to support humanitarian assistance for children, families, and communities in need.

Donations are not purchases, and no goods or services are sold, provided, or exchanged in return for a donation.

2. Donation Finality and Refund Policy

Donations to Compassion Is Life are generally final and non-refundable.

Once a donation has been submitted and successfully processed, it will not be refunded, returned, reversed, or exchanged, including but not limited to circumstances involving:

• a change of mind by the donor
• dissatisfaction with communication frequency, timing, or content
• delays or limitations in updates from beneficiaries
• disputes or chargebacks initiated through a bank or card issuer
• requests made after funds have been allocated or distributed

Donations are processed immediately through third-party payment processors, including Stripe, and are subject to their transaction handling rules.

By completing a donation, the donor acknowledges that the contribution is voluntary and understands that refunds are not guaranteed.

Compassion Is Life reserves the sole and absolute discretion to consider refunds only in exceptional cases, such as demonstrable technical or processing errors, and is under no obligation to issue a refund.

3. Allocation and Use of Funds

Donations are typically allocated promptly to active humanitarian programs, beneficiaries, or operational needs.

Due to the nature of charitable and humanitarian operations, donated funds may be committed or disbursed shortly after receipt and may no longer be recoverable. For this reason, refunds are generally not feasible once processing has occurred.

4. No Returns or Exchanges

As Compassion Is Life does not provide physical or digital products, return or exchange policies do not apply.

Any acknowledgments, updates, photographs, videos, or messages shared with donors are provided at the charity’s discretion and are not guaranteed.

5. Unauthorized Transactions and Chargebacks

If a donor believes a transaction was made without their authorization, they must notify us promptly at

info@helpchildreninukraine.org so the matter may be reviewed.

The submission of a dispute or chargeback does not automatically entitle a donor to a refund. Compassion Is Life reserves the right to provide transaction records, policy acknowledgments, IP data, timestamps, and related evidence to payment processors and financial institutions for the purpose of contesting unauthorized or disputed charges.

6. Policy Acknowledgment

This Refund and Return Policy is:

• publicly available on our website
• referenced during the donation process
• incorporated into our Terms and Conditions

Policy acknowledgment is recorded electronically at the time of donation submission.

By submitting a donation, donors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

7. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
