What if my sponsored child is too small or missed some schooling and cannot read or write?

If your sponsored child cannot yet read or write, you will still receive letters from him or her but the letters will be written by the child’s parent(s), guardian or possibly a kindergarten or pre-school teacher. With time and your help you will enjoy watching your sponsored child learn how to read and write and one happy day learn that your chosen child could read your letter him/herself! Just imagine what joy it will give you to realize your help ensured the child’s proper development and ability to start reading and writing according to his/her age!
